Those who work remotely will only be allowed to go outside in special situations, including shopping for groceries or medicines.

β€œIt is planned to issue QR codes to citizens with a clear description of both their place of residence and, accordingly, their place of work. Those who will need to work not remotely, but, as they say, in fact, this right will be granted exactly as much as it will be due to the economic situation,” said Alexei Repik. β€œThe QR code of those who will work remotely will not have a second dot – the place of work, but this does not mean that they will not be able to go to the pharmacy or the grocery store.”

According to media reports, residents of the capital will have to register on the mos.ru website indicating their place of actual residence, after which they will be given a QR code that will need to be presented to the police upon request.

Earlier, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin warned that β€œin the coming days, after technical and organizational measures have been taken, it will be possible to leave with a special pass issued in accordance with the procedure established by the Moscow Government.”

Since March 29, massive restrictions have been in place in Moscow, including mandatory self-isolation of residents, starting from March 30. Only employees of certain industries can leave the house, as well as in case of urgent need: to grocery stores, pharmacies, to walk pets at a distance of no more than 100 meters from their place of residence, or to take out the garbage. Similar measures have been introduced in the Moscow region.
