Echtra Games and Perfect World Entertainment have released a new trailer for Torchlight III. In it, the audience was introduced to another game class - a sniper (Sharpshooter). Separately, the developers told about the main features of this character.

In battles, the hero uses long-range skills, shots that accurately hit the target, as well as a variety of magical devices. The sniper is armed not only with a musket, but also with a bow, and can fire many volleys in a row to quickly destroy opponents. Traveling around the world, users will be able to upgrade the character and acquire new skills, such as increasing the efficiency of ammo recovery.

The sniper became the fourth of the declared classes in Torchlight III and joined the counterparts of the magician (Dusk Mage), engineer (Railmaster) and warrior (Forged). The trailer that accompanied the announcement of the new class shows off a lot of sniper skills. He uses different ammo, throws bombs, places marks to weaken opponents, sends a lot of arrows in a cone in front of him, and so on. And the hero is also able to summon ancient spirits that provide him with unique skills. The list includes the creation of a rotating stone block, volleys of fire projectiles and teleportation around the arena.

Torchlight III, which used to was called Torchlight Frontiers will release on Steam in Summer 2020, with console versions arriving on store shelves a little later.
