The Twitter microblogging network experienced a major outage. Judging by resource DownDetector, users from the USA, Brazil, Western Europe and Japan were the most affected.
At the same time, Russia and Ukraine were minimally affected by disruptions. The problem reportedly resulted in an attempt to open the feed in a browser on a PC resulting in a technical problem message. Internal errors were reported in the social network's mobile applications. In some cases, the tape simply would not load.
The problems began at 21:54 Moscow time, but within an hour the system began to work, although not yet fully. The company has not yet announced the reasons for the failure. There's only that deal with problems accessing the service. Twitter promised to keep users updated.
According to the latest information, the problem arose after an βinternal configuration change,β although this doesnβt say much for now. We can assume that the failure will be fixed by morning, although unforeseen problems may arise.
Earlier, on July 10, there was a glitch in the VKontakte social network. Users complained about photos being displayed incorrectly and difficulties sending messages and logging in. And before this, global failures were also observed in American services and social networks.
