Gaijin Entertainment has announced the start of the "Frontline Mechanic" campaign in the online military action game War Thunder. The event started today and will run until April 22.
Participants will be rewarded with six rare types of military equipment. After completing the first battle, players will receive a damaged I-180S experimental fighter. Your task is to repair it. βThe most successful mechanics will be rewarded with rare models of vehicles: the VFW self-propelled guns, the MPK Pr.122bis naval hunter, the Ju 388 J interceptor, the Merkava Mk.1 MBT and the HMS Tiger light cruiser, as well as unique camouflages for them,β the authors explained.
Malfunctions will be unique for each aircraft, so one of the tasks will be the correct identification of non-working components. You can check the serviceability of weapons, flaps, brakes in the diagnostic flight. After that, by taking part in battles, you will win new aircraft parts and tool kits needed to repair the aircraft.
Based on the results of the first successful assembly, you will receive the fighter itself. Well, the rest of the prizes mentioned above can be received after the repair of the second and subsequent fighters.
