Mail.ru company shared success in the fight against dishonest players in the Warface shooter. According to published information, in the first two quarters of 2019, developers banned more than 118 thousand accounts for using cheats.

Despite the impressive number of bans, their number decreased by 39% compared to the same period last year. Then the company blocked 195 thousand accounts. The studio also reported a 22% reduction in complaints received.

Mail.ru attributed these successes to major improvements in the security and punishment system. The developers have released 8 Warface anti-cheat updates, created a compensation system in ranked matches for losing to cheaters, and improved the matchmaking mechanism.
