Members of the Windows 10 Early Access program update with new icons for some apps. So far, the list of them is small, but they differ in their use of Fluent Design. Moreover, there are such icons both in the control panel and on the splash screens of each of the applications.
The list currently includes 6 applications with new colored icons:
- Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Excel;
- Computer;
- Mail & Calendar;
- Alarms & Clock;
- voice recorder;
- Groove Music;
- Movies & TV.
Also in the future, a new icon is expected for the Maps and People applications. These are supposed to be the same icons that appeared in Windows 10X operating system. And although its design can only be judged by , most likely, there will be no cardinal changes.
As for everyone else, the corresponding update is expected to be released no earlier than March at best. It is possible that the mass deployment of new icons will not begin until the release of the 2004 version, where a lot of new things are expected.
Note that this is not the first leak of the new design that is used in Windows 10X. Previously online assembly leaked from the bowels of Microsoft. And there was just a familiar simplified version of the Start menu.
