Russians will have to play separately from Europeans in World of Warcraft Classic

Blizzard Entertainment published on the European thread of its official forum statement regarding the structure of World of Warcraft Classic servers. The authors decided to separate Russians and Europeans - they will have their own platforms for playing with a separate launch client. A similar situation occurred in 2007, with the release of the expansion World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.

According to the developers, the above division is due to the difficulties caused by the introduction of the Cyrillic alphabet. User reaction to Blizzard's decision was mostly negative. Players from Europe did not like the unification into a single structure, as this would complicate the search for a group. Not all users speak English, so you will have to carefully select teams for raids that require coordinated actions of all fighters.
