In January, Pereslavl-Zalessky will host a conference "SVE in higher education"

On January 27-29, 2023, Pereslavl-Zalessky will host the XVIII conference "SVE in higher education", also known as OSEDUCONF. The event will be attended by representatives of the educational community from Russia and other countries. The main goal is to establish personal contacts between specialists, to discuss the prospects and novelties of the region.

Papers are accepted on the following topics:

  • Scientific projects related to the development and use of free software.
  • Interaction between higher and secondary schools in the implementation of open source software in educational institutions.
  • Infrastructural solutions of educational organizations based on open source software.
  • Social and economic and legal features of the use of free software in higher education.
  • Student projects for the development of open source software.

Papers are accepted only on Free Software topics. Reports about business, advertising and proprietary software are prohibited. If the topic of the report is related to software development, the application must contain a link to the code itself, published in any public repository under any free license. Applications for reports are accepted until December 25, applications for participation by the listener until January 23. Requirements for registration of applications and abstracts are contained on the conference page.

Participation in the conference for speakers and listeners is free of charge, a transfer is provided from Moscow and back, as well as from the Pereslavl Hotel to the conference venue: Pereslavl-Zalessky, st. Peter the Great, 4A (village of Veskovo, Institute of Program Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
