Blackrose Arts has launched a crowdfunding campaign dedicated to Valhall. This is a royal battle in the Scandinavian entourage, where ten Viking squads of five people each fight on one map. The authors released a ten-minute demonstration of the gameplay, where they explained the main features of Valhall.
In particular, a lot of attention in the video is devoted to the combat system. Fights are focused on close range, although there are also bows as long-range weapons. The video shows axes, swords, spears and shields. In the fight, the player will be able to attack, block and dodge. Any action consumes stamina, and when the parameter is reduced to a certain value, the character will move more slowly. From the weapons in the hands depend on the techniques that the hero can use.
The developers said that the map is divided into four zones. Gradually, it will narrow towards the center, and the areas along the edges will begin to collapse under the pressure of gravity. In the demonstration, you can see forests in winter and spring surroundings, castles and other locations.
