Valve has not yet denied the possible release of Half-Life: Alyx outside of SteamVR

The project aims to popularization Valve Index device, the owners of which will receive it for free, but the game will also be released on other headsets with SteamVR support. However, now users are interested in whether it is possible to release Half-Life: Alyx on PS VR. This question was answered by project designer Greg Coomer.

Greg Coomer then said that the PS VR version of the game is not currently in active development as the team is "focused on the initial launch," but Valve is "not ruling anything out." From his words, it becomes clear that Half-Life: Alyx may appear on PS VR, but this will not happen in the near future. However, the option is to launch a project on a platform whose user base exceeds 4 million people looks very tempting. That is why Valve is not yet rejecting the option of porting Half-Life: Alyx.

The game will be released in March 2020 and is already available for pre-order on Steam.
