In 2017, Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Tarsier presented a very dark horror film Little Nightmares, made in a cute visual style. After that, the platformer got several additions, and soon it will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Fans will be interested to know that it will be possible to immerse yourself in a frightening adventure on mobile devices running iOS.
Bandai Namco Entertainment introduced a standalone project called Very Little Nightmares in the same universe. It will be a dark adventure puzzle game with a familiar visual style, created specifically for mobile platforms and featuring hand-drawn 2D graphics. It is created by Alike studio (authors of Love You To Bits and Bring You Home).
The developers promise that we will learn the background of the adventures of the Sixth and get to know the heroine of the original platformer better while fighting for survival in the expanses of the Nest. Will the player be able to avoid meeting new enemies and get out of this terrible place?
Thanks to cooperation with the SoftClub company, the game will be available entirely in Russian. The exact release date for Very Little Nightmares on iPhone and iPad is not known, except for the rather vague wording "soon." Nothing has been announced about the possibility of the project appearing on Android yet, but this can be expected.
In our review of Little Nightmares, Alexei Likhachev rated the game 9 out of 10. He advised fans of Limbo and Inside to rate the game and called it a big step forward for dark platformers. As pluses, a creepy atmosphere, attention to detail, simple and original puzzles, and surprises as you progress were noted. The disadvantages include misses in jumps due to the depth of locations.
