On March 7, Veusz 3.2 was released, a GUI application designed to present scientific data in the form of 2D and 3D graphs in the preparation of publications.
This release introduces the following improvements:
- added selection of a new mode for rendering 3d graphs inside a "block" instead of rendering a bitmap scene;
- for the key widget, a widget-option for specifying the sequence order has been added;
- data export dialog now uses multiple threads;
- fixed compatibility bugs with python 3.9.
Minor changes include:
- displaying a dialog box notifying about a "thrown" exception if it did not occur in the main thread;
- added description of desktop file in brazilian portuguese;
- by default, python3 is used to run the application.
Fixed:
- errors related to the display of icons in the manual;
- an error that occurs when a bar chart is set to a position and then removed;
- "really all files" is now displayed in the on-demand import dialog;
- error displaying the browse icon in the export dialog;
- styles tab error for polynomial drawing widget;
- error displaying incorrect messages about escape sequences;
- Error setting parametric date when using non-English locale.
