According to game page on Steam, domestic players can count on Russian localization in the form of subtitles, but the voice acting will be exclusively English. The minimum system requirements are quite modest by today's standards: Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-7400 class processor, 8 GB of RAM, a video card like NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2 GB with DirectX 9.0c support, and 25 GB of free disk space.

Players will have a choice: become a gang leader and build a criminal empire, or act as a senior inspector of the famous Scotland Yard Flying Squad. In both cases, you have to track down targets and participate in fights with your squad. Along the way, you need to expand your sphere of influence, visiting pubs, clubs, veterinary clinics, tailor shops, ports and other parts of the city. In your team, you can recruit gangsters with various skills that facilitate the commission of crimes, or successful detectives.

Tactical combat in Company of Crime is characterized by an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat in tight spaces. Each of the wards has a zone of control, so their location affects a lot. You can block the path of opponents, take the enemy in numbers, or attack from the rear, receiving a bonus to attack. With a kick, you can throw the enemy aside and prevent him from attacking his fighter. And if the enemy gets a gun, you will have to hide and look for an opportunity to take the weapon away until he has shot the entire squad.

When committing crimes, it is desirable to avoid unnecessary noise: if a shootout starts, it will attract attention, and a criminal empire operating in public view will not last long. On a mission, you will have to think not only about health and stamina points. For example, having taught a lesson to the owner of a pub, you should not immediately retreat: before the arrival of the police, you need to get rid of the evidence indicating involvement in the crime.

During the creation of a criminal empire, you will have to "convince" the owners of houses and businesses to cooperate or sell real estate at a bargain price. The more legal establishments controlled by criminals, the more items and opportunities are available, but the risk of encountering a police raid or a raid by competitors increases.

When playing as the police, you will have to respond to incoming signals, as well as send employees to reconnaissance in suspicious establishments, communicate with informants and obtain search warrants. The main thing when making an arrest is not to let the criminals get rid of the evidence in order to send them to jail.

In parallel, the history of London itself of that time will develop - with beatniks, fashion, rockers and other informal movements. The British Cold War empire is crumbling under increasing pressure from within and without. In addition, a certain mysterious order has set as its goal to ruin the country - only the geniuses of the underworld and the famous Flying Squad can stop it.
