Toronto-based developer Komi Games has unveiled the multiplayer fighting game Mighty Fight Federation for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. He will appear already in the last quarter of this year, and will be available on other platforms in the second quarter of 2020. A trailer was also shown showing the main fighters of the game and its bright and colorful style.
According to the description, Mighty Fight Federation will initially have 11 characters, each with their own unique style and wide range of combinations. According to the plot, in distant outer space there is a certain creature with incredible power, known as Hyperion. It has the ability to bend reality to its will and decided to gather warriors from all over the Multiverse to compete with each other for audience sympathy.
The developers claim that Mighty Fight Federation is a return to classic fighting games with 3D arenas. One of the features of the game is the Hype mechanic, which allows you to use various special abilities. By accumulating Hype energy while attacking or defending, the player can then spend it on strengthening the combination of attacks, knocking back the opponent, and special moves that can only be used once per round.
In addition to the usual one-on-one fights, the Mighty Fight Federation has a "Multiplayer Mayhem" mode, which allows four players to clash in one arena at once in local or online modes. A story mode is also promised, in which you will find out the truth about Hyperion's plans, plus arcade modes and training.
