Publisher Kalypso Media and developers Palindrome Interactive have released their Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars on Xbox One as part of the Game Preview Early Access program. Xbox One owners, following PC players, will be able to evaluate the turn-based strategy before the full release in spring 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

In addition, the developers reported that the beta version on Steam and Game Preview received many innovations and improvements that are designed to significantly improve the gaming experience. The most significant changes:
- new battle maps for each biome, bringing the total number of unique battlefields to 16;
- new mechanics of battle status effects that affect all armies on the battlefield - eight different effects with three levels of power each are available so far;
- new mechanics for capturing points, including watchtowers and healing points;
- lords now gain skills as they level up;
- upgradable buildings received four different visual options to reflect the changes;
- new province effects like mana regeneration at the end of a turn in the library;
- new camera options in kingdom mode and a full-screen 2D map.

The beta version of Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars still gives access to some of the early chapters of the story campaign, Sandbox and Skirmish modes. Nosfernus and Moroya's companies will be updated in Early Access until launch. Also pre-ordered on Steam still
The game is a rather unusual strategy game that combines Total War-style empire management, turn-based combat and elements of collectible card games. Players perform strategic maneuvers in Kingdom Mode and command troops in Battle Mode. Each Vampire Lord has access to a different set of cards that can be combined for powerful effects. The story is told from the perspective of four powerful vampire lords, each with their own goals and objectives.
