Sketchbook Games, which includes former developers of Fable 2 and Harry Potter games, will invite players to plunge into the whimsical watercolor world of Lost Words: Beyond the Page, immersed in the themes of love, relationships, loss and grief. The story in this platformer is written by screenwriter Rhianna Pratchett, who is known for her work on the Tomb Raider series, among other things.
For E3, Mobus revealed that Lost Words: Beyond the Page, previously announced for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, will be released this December (also on Nintendo Switch). At the same time, a colorful thematic commercial was presented, which shows how the main character moves through the story, literally moving between the pages of a diary through fantasy lands and interacting with words to solve puzzles.
Lost Words: Beyond the Page tells the story of a young girl and her adventures in the wonderful fantasy world of Estoria. Players are promised quite difficult word puzzles, unique platforming segments, as well as an aesthetic environment in the spirit of watercolor drawings.
The developers promise an emotional progression in the story, a fully voiced story, as well as a strong influence of the player's decisions on what is happening - as a result, each passage should be unique. In addition to the innovative word-based gameplay, collectible fireflies can also be collected in levels.
Unfortunately, the Russian language is not declared even in text form. No price has been announced for Lost Words: Beyond the Page either, though
