Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that the collection of her Disney Tsum Tsum Festival minigames, which was released in February, will be released on November 8, 2019. We are talking about a rather unusual exclusive for the Nintendo Switch platform - the main characters in it are funny collectible figures Tsum Tsum based on Disney characters. They will look at the Japanese console for the first time.
The developers also presented a trailer with a demonstration of all the mini-games included in the kit and designed, as you might guess, to play together with friends or family. Up to 4 players can compete as a team or against each other, from Tsum Tsum Mania, where players have to aim and shoot at UFOs, to Ice Cream Stacker, where you have to try to collect the biggest ice cream from sweet balls falling from above.
The collection includes eleven mini-games, all of which are shown in the video below: Tsum Chase, Tsum Curling, Bubble Hockey, Ice Cream Stacker, Tsum Tsum Mania, Egg Pack Coaster, Spinner Battle, Round 'n' Round Run, Lost Treasure, Tsum Rhythm, Tsum Tsum Puzzle. All projects except the last one involve active play and require the Joy-Con controllers to be disconnected from the console. Therefore, to play them on Switch Lite, you will have to purchase these controllers separately. Tsum Tsum Puzzle, on the other hand, only supports handheld mode.
Also, Tsum Tsum Mania, Egg Pack Coaster, Lost Treasure, Tsum Rhythm and Tsum Tsum Puzzle do not allow you to play over the Internet, but only provide local entertainment. Nothing has been announced about the release of the collection on other platforms yet.
By the way, in parallel with this, Nintendo announced a special version of Switch, performed in the style of Disney Tsum Tsum Festival. The left controller is purple, the right controller is pink, and the home button has Mickey Mouse ears. This version will be released only in Japan and will be available for pre-order on October 10th.
