Video: iPad mini bent, but it continued to work

Apple's iPads are famous for their extremely thin design, although this is the reason for their vulnerability. With a larger surface area than a smartphone, the likelihood of bending and even destruction of the tablet is in any case higher.

Compared to its predecessor, the fifth-generation iPad mini hasn't changed much in appearance, although there are a few minor improvements that make it somewhat incompatible with older iPad mini cases. On the whole, however, it largely retained the merits of its predecessor.

Video blogger Jack Nelson (Zack Nelson), known under the nickname JerryRigEverything, tested the iPad mini for strength. What is most surprising, the tablet continued to work even after it was bent at a large angle.

With the same smart new A12 Bionic processor as found in the latest iPhones, as well as Apple Pencil input support, the iPad mini 5 is capable of handling high demands despite its old-fashioned design.

Nevertheless, the iPad mini 5 is extremely difficult to repair after a breakdown, since, according to the findings of the iFixit resource, the tablet cannot be repaired. They rated it repairable at only two points out of ten.
