The team-based multiplayer action game World of Warships: Legends has reached consoles today. It was created by the St. Petersburg studio Wargaming, which previously introduced World of Warships for PC to the world. Now on PS4 and Xbox One, too, you can take to the seas with historic warships, engage in spectacular battles with players around the world, recruit legendary commanders, and upgrade your fleet. The game is available on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store as a free download.
World of Warships: Legends became the second MMO from Wargaming, which was released on consoles and is going to repeat the success of its predecessor - World of Tanks: Mercenaries (the latter has an audience of 4 million players on PS18 and Xbox One). Fans of the naval theme are promised not only a lot of exclusive content and features, but also the use of the full potential of modern consoles.
As a result of the transfer to the consoles and the changes made in parallel, the online battles beloved by millions of faithfully reproduced warships of the XNUMXth century should become even more dynamic in Legends. There will be more options for developing commander abilities, with Legends offering players a new user interface, controller-optimized controls, and exclusive content.
Already at the time of its release, World of Warships: Legends offers battles on 15 maps, a choice of 50 ships of three classes - destroyers, cruisers and battleships, as well as over 20 legendary naval commanders. The game has full Russian localization. In the future, Legends will have new branches of ships and nations, commander abilities, maps, as well as support for 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X (by the way, HDR is already available).
