Currently, Euro NCAP is the main organization that evaluates the safety of cars based on independent crash tests. The safety rating for the Audi e-tron electric car was more than positive. The safety of the driver and adult passengers was rated at 91%, children - at 85%, pedestrians - at 71%, and the electronic security system was rated at 76%. These results earned the car a five-star safety rating.

The interior of the car in the frontal displacement test remained stable. The readings recorded by special sensors indicate that in the event of a collision, the knees and hips of the driver and passengers of the passenger compartment receive good protection. The proper level of protection will be received by passengers of different heights and weights, sitting in different positions. In a head-on collision, both passengers received good protection of all important parts of the body. Experts noted the good performance of the autonomous braking system, which has proven itself in tests at low speeds.

The weak degree of protection of the driver's chest was revealed in a collision with a pole. Insufficiently high efficiency of the maximum speed control system was also noted.

Let's remind, deliveries of Audi e-tron in the European region started at the beginning of this year. This month, the German automaker's first electric cars hit the US market.
