As part of the Summer of Gaming event, IGN presented a gameplay video dedicated to the MMORPG New World from Amazon Game Studios. Fresh footage shows massive battles between two 50v50 teams. One group of fighters must defend the fortress, and the second - to storm.
The battle in the cutscene begins with the siege of the main gate. The attackers must break into the castle, and the defenders must not allow the enemies to break through the walls. During the attack, siege weapons can be used, and cannons are used for defense.
When the main gate is taken, the second stage of the match will begin - a large-scale confrontation between two groups of fifty people with the capture of points. Here, users already rely on weapons, equipment and character skills. A recent video shows that during such large skirmishes, complete chaos is created on the battlefield: units clash in close combat, rush across an impressive map, shoot from a bow and use a variety of abilities. The list of skills includes barriers, healing teammates, bombarding a chosen area with buckshot, summoning a firestorm, and much more.
Despite the participation of a large number of players, the battles in the creation of Amazon Game Studios, apparently, will not last long. Journalists IGN held the match in fifteen minutes.
New World will release on August 25 on PC. Users who pre-order will have access to the game's closed beta, which will 23 of July.
