Over the past few weeks, Frictional Games has teasers of his new project, and now it's the turn of a full-fledged announcement. The developers have presented Amnesia: Rebirth - a continuation of the famous series of narrative horror. The authors have published the first trailer for the game, a selection of screenshots and a synopsis.
Frictional Games wrote about the storyline on the official page of the project : In Amnesia: Rebirth, you are Tasi Trianon, who woke up deep in the desert of Algeria. The days have passed. Where have you been? What they were doing? Where have the rest gone? Recreate your adventure and collect fragments of the past; this is your only chance to survive the impending horror that can consume the main character. The game takes place ten years after the events of Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
The first trailer of the project showed several locations, a monster and some mystical objects. Judging by the frames from the video, Tasi will wake up in a dilapidated plane or some other vehicle. During the passage, the protagonist will walk through mysterious caves strewn with traps, fall into a sandstorm and find some kind of portal. The trailer ends with the fact that the main character was grabbed by a growling monster and dragged along. The screenshots published in the material will help to study the surroundings and locations from the game in more detail.
Amnesia: Rebirth will release in Fall 2020 on PC and PS4. Developers from Frictional Games separately that the game will not revolutionize the genre. It will offer a familiar but improved concept with several innovations.
