Square Enix has unveiled a new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII remake, entirely dedicated to Cloud Strife, the protagonist of the game.
Cloud Strife was recruited by the Avalanche resistance to help fight against the sinister Shinra Corporation. But instead of the usual task, the hero is drawn into a deep conflict that is connected with his past and the future of the whole planet. The trailer, first shown at The Game Awards 2019, reveals Cloud's character.
As has been stated many times, Final Fantasy VII Remake will feature a number of new characters and bosses. This was confirmed by the game's director Tetsuya Nomura last month. βAs for the new characters,β Nomura said, βwhich I said in past interviews that they β³will not beβ³, they are not the main characters, their number has increased significantly in the process of creating a saturated [city] of Midgar. When you think of the final boss of Midgar, you probably think of MOTOR, but there will be new bosses in this game, and they will add even more delight to the story.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released on March 3, 2020 as . The game will be divided into several episodes, but their exact number has not yet been announced. The first of them is entirely dedicated to the events in Midgar in accordance with the first disc of the original Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation.
