Video: First gameplay trailer for NieR Re[in]carnation by NieR and Drakengard

Square Enix has released the first gameplay trailer for NieR Re[in]carnation. The project was recently announced on iOS and Android.

Judging by the video, we are not waiting for another mobile time-killer, but a plot adventure project. In the role of a little girl and her “ghostly” Pod, we will cross the ruins of an ancient civilization to a beautiful soundtrack.

Recall that the NieR action takes place in the distant future. After the main character Drakengard brought a disease to our world from a parallel reality where magic and dragons exist, humanity practically died out and fell back in development. To save its race, it created replicants that you can see in NieR and Never: Automata. At the time of the beginning of the latter, it is known that the surviving people fled to the moon. When the events of NieR Re[in]carnation unfold have not yet been revealed.

But it is known that the producer of NieR Re [in] carnation is Yosuke Saito (Yosuke Saito), and the director is the author of the entire universe, Yoko Taro. The project is being developed by the Applibot studio. Character design is by Akihiko Yoshida of CyDesignation, with concept art by Kazuma Koda.
