Along the way, you need to satisfy the needs of the inhabitants by creating multiple production chains, establish communication with other AI-controlled rulers and increase wealth by creating a network of trade routes. The world will be full of intricate political intrigues, fragile alliances and rapidly developing technologies.
The developers promise that in Anno 1800 every choice made changes the game world. Will the player become an innovator or an exploiter? Conqueror or liberator? How will his name go down in history?
