During E3 2017, Nintendo unveiled a new installment in the adventures of the friendly dinosaur Yoshi, one of the most recognizable characters in the Mario universe. A Switch-exclusive launch was expected in 2018 but has been delayed to 2019. And during the CES 2019 exhibition, the Japanese company announced the exact launch date for all regions: the platform game from the Good-Feel team will be released on March 29 and will cost Russian players 4199 rubles.
The game is now available for pre-download (unlocks at midnight on March 29), and on the occasion of the upcoming release, the developers have presented a fresh video. It focuses on co-op (the project supports local multiplayer for two players) and demonstrates various fragments of the gameplay.
Recall: in Yoshi's Crafted World, players will have to explore a huge world, made in the form of a miniature diorama. The project, created on the Unreal Engine, is distinguished by the stylization of the entire environment and objects under papier-mâché and cardboard. This time, each level has a traditional front side, as well as a reverse side, where unexpected surprises are hidden.
Various unusual obstacles will arise on the way, but a well-aimed throw will always help pave a new path. The dinosaur (alone or in company with a friend) will be able to explore every nook and cranny of the level and collect various items on the way to the goal. Those who want to try the project can install a free demo version and go through the first level.
The last Nintendo game in the standalone Yoshi series was released in October 2015 on the Wii U console as Yoshi's Woolly World, and it was ported to the 2017DS in early 3 as Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World.
