Nintendo has published the premiere trailer for the Nintendo Switch-exclusive action game Astral Chain from Platinum Games.
Astral Chain marks the directorial debut of Takahisa Taura, lead game designer. . Bayonetta series creator Hideki Kamiya is in charge of concept and planning, while character designs are handled by mangaka Masakazu Katsura.
The game takes place in the near future. The Earth was attacked by alien creatures called chimeras. They distorted the world with an unknown substance, and therefore humanity had to flee to a city called the Ark. But the chimeras reached him too. The elite police unit "Neuron" with an unusual weapon "Legion" was created to resist them. The player acts as one of the members of the Neuron squad, whose task is to repel the enemy invasion.
Astral Chain will be available on August 30, 2019. The game is available on Nintendo eShop .
