The Doctor Who: The Edge of Time project for virtual reality helmets was announced a few months ago. And now the studio Maze Theory has released a new trailer for the game, which showed a lot of gameplay moments and revealed the release date.
The video shows a journey through various universes. The protagonist, judging by the published footage, will visit the spaceship and the ancient temple. The trailer shows how the protagonist arrives in a settlement with houses in the Victorian style using the branded elevator from the Doctor Who series. Then a cozy room with many paintings is shown, after which some kind of futuristic building appears in the frame.
The video also features the Weeping Angels, a powerful humanoid race that was first shown in the series. Apparently, in The Edge of Time there are many references to the original source. And the trailer also focuses on puzzles, it seems that solving them will become the main element of the gameplay.
