In April, the Moscow studio Alter Games the first full-fledged video with the gameplay of his tactical game with elements of survival "Partisans 1941". On Victory Day, the authors congratulated subscribers on their Facebook, VK and Twitter pages on the holiday, and also told how development is going and in what direction the project is developing.
In the above video, community manager Alexander Kalumbin noted that the team did not expect such a lively reaction to their first video: the developers were simply overwhelmed with a mass of comments. The latter vigilantly monitor reviews, community activity in social networks and thank people who are interested in the game.
At the moment, Alter Games is focused on the development and improvement of artificial intelligence - a lot has already been done, but much remains to be worked out. "Partisans 1941" offers players to choose how to complete their goals. Many prefer covert passage, but the developers also pay great attention to firefights so that players have the maximum number of tools for solving game problems. Therefore, there will be more opportunities for both those who like to complete missions in combat, and for those who prefer stealth.
The video also shows snippets of the playful process, such as setting a trap in an enemy patrol route, distracting an enemy fighter with a rock throw, slowing down time to control fighters in the middle of a battle. The developers promised to soon show an important aspect of the game, which has not yet been demonstrated and fundamentally distinguishes it from other projects in the style of Commandos.
In "Partisans 1941" the player controls a detachment of partisans in the Great Patriotic War. Each hero has its own character and skills. It is created on the Unreal Engine - the Alter Games team includes veterans of the Russian gaming industry who worked in the Allods Team, Nival Interactive, Skyriver Studios and others.
According to the plans of the developers, "Partisans 1941" will be released on PC in December this year.
