Despite the passing years, Ubisoft continues to develop its popular tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. As expected, on May 19, the game launched the second season of the 4th year of support for the game. The update is called Operation Phantom Sight, and its main change is two new Operators, one each for Defenders and Stormtroopers, respectively. The new video shows these fighters in action and shows the best tactics for each of them.

The "Ghost" in the title of the update refers to Danish operative NΓΈkk, the main feature of which is the Hel camouflage device, which allows you to hide from cameras and bots. This mysterious fighter of the Danish Jaeger Corps is able to move silently, penetrate behind enemy lines, collect the necessary data and effectively attack the enemy. This hero truly inspires fear in opponents.

In turn, the word "look" refers to American fighter with the callsign Warden. The key differentiator of this protection specialist is the Glance smart glasses. With their help, the former Marine and US Secret Service operative sees things that others don't, gaining an advantage in any situation, whether it's meticulous planning or improvisation. This helps, for example, in conditions of a smoke screen or when enemies use stun grenades.

The video shows the basic techniques for the most effective use of the skills and features of these two operatives. It is also dedicated to updating the Dostoevsky Cafe map, which has become noticeably more balanced as part of the latest update.

By the way, part of the innovations of the 2nd season are various balance changes, many of which are still being tested by the developers. For example, Desert Eagle now has a muzzle brake and silencer, Smoke's FMG-9 now has a Vortex scope (like Mozzie), and Finka's skill effect will randomly eliminate tinnitus from an explosion. The changes will also affect the Glaz, Maverick, Smoke operators, as well as stationary and ballistic shields.
