Video: fantasy world, puzzles and spectacular battles in the announcement of Kena: Bridge of Spirits

At the recent Future of Gaming online show, where projects for the PlayStation 5 were demonstrated, Ember Lab presented Kena: Bridge of Spirits - an adventure in a colorful fantasy world. This is the first game from an independent studio, as developers previously worked on animated films in the film industry. In the announcement video, the audience was presented with a plot plot, puzzle solving and battles with various opponents.

В PlayStation Blog Ember Lab COO Josh Grier had a little to say about the studio's first brainchild: “Kena: Bridge of The Spirits is a narrative action-adventure game with a charming world that has a lot to explore and fight. Users find and develop a team of tiny spirits. They help expand the hero's skills and open up new ways to interact with the outside world. By working to implement next-generation features made possible by Sony and the PS5 console, we were able to expand the game's immersive experience and implement some unique gameplay mechanics."

The first trailer shows the beginning of Kena: Bridge Of The Spirits. The main character Kena fought with some sorcerer and was defeated. Then, apparently, she decided to accumulate strength in order to oppose the enemy again - this is where the passage begins.

At the beginning of the video, the same perfume that Josh Grier mentioned was shown. These cute black creatures will help you solve puzzles. One of the frames shows how they lifted a large stone and moved it to another place on the orders of the heroine. Kena: Bridge Of The Spirits

 

The trailer also reveals that Kena: Bridge of The Spirits will have platforming and combat elements. In the latter, Kena uses a bow and makes normal and enhanced shots, timely parries the attacks of enemies, somersaults and inflicts quick blows with her staff.

Kena: Bridge of The Spirits will be a PS5 console exclusive and coming to PC. The game already has web-page in the Epic Games Store, but whether it will be released on Steam is unknown.

The developers have not announced the release date, although 2020 is indicated in the EGS.
