Microids, studios Pendulo and YS Interactive have unveiled a new gameplay trailer for detective Blacksad: Under the Skin.
In the 25-minute video, cat detective Blacksad investigates the death of the owner of a boxing club and the disappearance of the main fighter. The clues led him to a residential building, in which the hero will have to get past the concierge. Infiltrating the mafia's apartment, Blacksad finds interesting information, but suddenly finds himself trapped: the criminal has returned along with his retinue. However, this is far from a failure, because the situation can be played in your favor.
In Blacksad: Under the Skin, players will have to explore locations, search for clues and interview possible witnesses in order to find the killer of Joe Dunn, the owner of a boxing club. After the crime, no one can find the rising star of the ring, Robert Yale - his location will also need to be determined. Sonia Dunn, Joe's daughter, was hired to investigate the Blacksad case. And now the cat-detective will have to look into the darkest depths of New York in order to earn his fee, as well as find the perpetrators and restore justice.
The game is based on the Blacksad comic book by Spanish authors Juan DΓaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido. The novel was first published in France by Dargaud and ran from 2000 to 2014.
Blacksad: Under the Skin will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 14th, while the Nintendo Switch version will release later on November 28th.
