Video: Sony remembers the brightest PlayStation games of 2019 in a short video

A video dedicated to the most striking and memorable games of the platform in 2019 has appeared on the official Russian PlayStation channel on YouTube. The description says: β€œThe emergence of new heroes and the return of legends. Fresh adventures and reimaginings of classics. Epic victories and extraordinary worlds. 2019 was an incredible year for PlayStation." The video, accompanied by upbeat music, shows excerpts from various games, with an emphasis, of course, on exclusives:

Judging by the video, the most significant event of the past year was Death Stranding. In our review, Alexey Likhachev gave the game 7 points out of 10, noting the originality of the universe, intriguing plot, acting and excellent music. But at the same time, he did not turn a blind eye to the problems of Hideo Kojima’s new creation in the form of monotonous missions, an uninteresting open world with repetitive bases and terminals, and disappointing boss battles.

slasher Devil May Cry 5 mentioned second. Ivan Byshonkov in our review also rated the game 7 points, highlighting the game as Dante, the excellent combat system, dynamic music and technology, and pointing out the shortcomings of the unconvincing V, boring and monotonous locations, the lack of interesting cutscenes and simple bosses.

The third one is shown Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (in Russia published under the title β€œStar Wars. Jedi: Fallen Order”). Unlike Episode IX of the film saga, the game actually turned out quite well. Alexey Likhachev in our review rated it 9 points out of 10, praising it for the story with interesting characters, the variety of planets available for exploration, the combat system, the good pace of the narrative and the well-recreated atmosphere of the famous universe. The disadvantages included a boring main character and technical flaws.
