Video: Ubisoft has released Might & Magic: Era of Chaos - the mobile offshoot of "Heroes"

Ubisoft at the beginning of the month reported about the return to life of the legendary series of turn-based strategies Might and Magic (the rights to it belong to the French since 2003). Unfortunately for long-term fans, this is a free mobile game with cartoon-style characters drawn for children (the developers call this "anime-style").

One way or another, but Might & Magic: Era of Chaos (in Russian localization - "Might and Magic. Heroes: Era of Chaos") is already available for free download in app stores App Store и Google Play. Along with this, a new trailer for the launch is presented:

"Help Queen Katherine Ironfist restore the war-torn kingdom of Erathia. Summon legendary heroes, gather massive armies of magical creatures, knights, and powerful spellcasters to use strategy and magic to win,” reads the description of Might & Magic: Era of Chaos.

The developers promise a huge story campaign with a vast world, the ability to call on allies, collect resources, treasures, artifacts and win glory. Before the battles, it will be possible to choose the optimal formation of your troops, so that with the help of tactics and spells of your heroes, turn the tide of the battle. It is also possible to challenge other players, both in normal multiplayer battles and in asynchronous mode.

You can team up with other players to participate in campaigns and guild wars against other players from all over the world. The ability to hire heroes from the classic Heroes of Might and Magic factions is available - each will have different skills, weapons and artifacts. You can also summon more than 40 terrifying squads and creatures to your army: knights, griffins, archangels, dragons, orcs and many others - all of them can be improved.

There are also a variety of real-time events that allow you to get rare items, and a lot of special bonuses like super squads. Developers from the Playcrab studio call their creation rethought for mobile platforms of the classic Heroes of Might and Magic III, but fans of the series are unlikely to agree with this. However, you can get acquainted with the creation for free.
