Video: in the fighting game Jump Force, you can now play for the main villains

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for its crossover fighting game Jump Force, which combines many famous characters from the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump over 50 years of its existence. Even before the release of the game, the developers introduced the public to one of its key characters - villain Kane.

Those who went through the Jump Force story campaign could see this main antagonist more than once, but they still didn’t let them play as him - now, with the release of update 1.11, this omission has been fixed. Also featured is a trailer that showcases character abilities like Ghost Wave or Ignite Bullet Strike, as well as the tag line: "All who stand in my way will be destroyed along with this world."

Created by Akira Toriyama specifically for Jump Force, Kane borrows heavily from Cell and Hit from the Dragonball anime. He is a tall, muscular, bald humanoid with blue skin and purple eyes, with red markings on his head and around his eyes. He wears a black suit with golden armor, olive green gloves, and military style boots. Kane leads a group of villains and wishes to save the world by destroying it and rebuilding it from the ashes.

In addition to Kane, players also got the opportunity to play as another villain in the Jump Force story campaign - Galena. She is a green-skinned attractive humanoid fairy with flowing white hair, orange eyes, and translucent insect wings. She is wearing a red swimsuit, gloves and boots. This is an evil and cruel woman who can reincarnate in order to deceive rivals.

Other changes in the new update include the addition of the Type D sword style, another online Raid Boss Battle event, the ability to purchase tickets and costumes in the Shop Counter, and a general increase in game stability.

Jump Force is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
