Sony has posted a video ad on its channel for the March update of PlayStation Now. The library of this subscription service has been replenished with three projects of the PlayStation 4 generation at once: a metroidvania action movie Control from Remedy, the final part of the new trilogy about Lara Croft in the face Shadow of the Tomb Raider from Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics, as well as a shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus by Machine Games.

However, it is worth noting that Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Control will be available temporarily - until August 31, 2020. Sony also revealed that PlayStation Now now provides unlimited access to a library of over 800 games across the PS4, PS3 and PS2 generations of consoles, all in a single subscription.

As a reminder, we are talking about live streaming of games on PS4 or PC, as well as the ability to download titles from the PS4 and PS4 generations to PS2. In both cases, full access to multiplayer modes is provided. New games are added monthly. By the way, as of October last year, the subscriber base of PlayStation Now has grown to more than one million people. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced it in the quarterly income statement. This is expected, because the Japanese company is gradually developing its service towards Xbox Game Pass. As already mentioned, PlayStation Now on PC only allows you to play games in streaming mode (which is fraught with delays and video compression artifacts), but PS4 owners can also download full versions of PS4 games (there are more than 300 of them in the PS Now catalog) and PS2 on their console to run them locally. Unfortunately, PlayStation Now is still not available in Russia (the subscription is valid in the US, Canada, Japan and a number of EU countries). In the US, an annual subscription costs $99,99, and a one-week trial is also offered.
