Video: Overwatch is hosting its traditional Halloween Horror Event until November 4th

Blizzard has introduced a new seasonal Halloween Terror event for its competitive shooter Overwatch, which will run from October 15 to November 4. In general, it repeats similar events of previous years, but there will be something new. The latter is the focus of the new trailer:

As usual, those interested will be able to take part in the cooperative mode “Revenge of Junkenstein,” where four daredevils fight off crowds of increasingly serious enemies under the command of AI. The heroes need to protect Adlersbrunn from terrible opponents: Doctor Junkenstein, his monster, a mysterious sorceress, the Reaper and the Witch from the Wild Lands.

Players will also be able to get a ton of themed cosmetics, including 5 brand new legendary skins: Demon for Orisa, Mummy for Ana, Wisp for Tracer, Scorpio for Widowmaker, and Warlock for Ashe. Baptiste, Lucio, and Junkrat also received special new skins. Zenyatta received a new emote, and McCree and Ash received new match highlights.

All this can be obtained with some luck from themed containers along with last year's items. Additionally, simply by winning Quick Play, Competitive Play, and Arcade modes, players will unlock guaranteed sprays, badges, and sinister skins for Junkrat, Baptiste, and Sombra each week.
