Annual Pass holders are already playing the first episode of the Washington Outskirts: Expeditions Co-op Action RPG update . The rest of the owners of the game will have access to it on July 30th. On this occasion, Ubisoft has released a trailer showing the features of the episode.
: Near Washington: Expeditions adds two main missions and a new free-to-play Expeditions mode with weekly exploration challenges. After going on an expedition, players will be taken to Kenly College. The task is to find the missing convoy by examining three different zones with a common center, each of which has a different entourage and atmosphere. There they will find unique rewards for exploring the world, investigations and puzzles in search of the missing convoy. In the future, expeditions will take place in new unexplored areas.
The main operations take place in two new areas: the Manning National Zoo, where players explore 11 different biomes and fight the leader of the Outcasts; and Camp White Oak, where they have to hunt down the traitor. Each of the operations completes the main lines of the story campaign. Special Forces agents have managed to track down missing Outcast leader Emeline Shaw at the Manning National Zoo, and this is a great chance to strike a decisive blow. And in Camp White Oak, players will go after President Andrew Ellis, who has fled after being revealed to be a traitor collaborating with the Black Tusk.
Also on July 23, the third special event dedicated to the summer in Washington, "Heat Wave" began in the game. These events provide an opportunity to get new wardrobe items from special containers available for a limited time. During the Heatwave, the developers will offer 40 new wardrobe items (5 sets of clothes, a mask, 5 emotes and 7 weapon skins), which can be obtained by acquiring the keys to the containers in the game or by purchasing them directly. Each player will be given one key simply for launching during the promotional period, and first year pass holders will receive three more keys.
