Techland has released a lengthy demo of Dying Light 2's gameplay. In the 26-minute video, the studio showed the completion of several missions, new features of the mechanics of moving around the city, combat and driving. Thanks to this video, users can evaluate the current version of the zombie action.

The video begins with the fact that the protagonist of Dying Light 2, Aiden Caldwell, is dehydrated. He ended up in some bar, where the guy was given a drink, and then taken to the company of other characters. At this point, a mission begins in which Aiden needs to solve problems with drinking water supplies in the city. He goes outside, chats with a certain Juan, then hears shots and rushes into the fray. In the sequel, you can instantly kill the enemy if you jump on him from a height - then the protagonist will grab the enemy by the head and smash it to the ground.

In Dying Light 2, you can cut off the limbs of living people. Obviously, the age rating of the game will be appropriate. When Aiden is tasked with tracking vehicles, a cutscene shows off the updated parkour system. The protagonist will be able to climb the ropes stretched through the blocks, use a parachute when falling, use freely hanging ropes, and so on. According to the authors, the number of parkour moves in the sequel has doubled.

Many buildings are abandoned, they do not get sunlight, and therefore zombies live there during the day. The gameplay demo shows how the hero breaks into a room with the walking dead, grabs one of them and jumps out the window opposite, using the enemy as a pillow for landing. At night, the zombies come out to hunt.

We remind you that the action of Dying Light 2 will unfold 15 years after the start of the epidemic. Aiden Caldwell - infected protagonistwho will change the city with his decisions.

Dying Light 2 will be released in spring 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the exact date has not yet been announced.
