A new trailer for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has appeared on the official Sony YouTube channel. This is a survival adventure game from Patrice Desilets, creator of the first Assassin's Creed. It is he who comments on everything that happens in the video.
The project leader said that Ancestors focuses on the exploration of the open world. There is no map here: you need to study vast locations and memorize their device. To survive, the main character will have to eat, drink and sleep. These elements are responsible for the restoration of energy and stamina, which help to travel without restrictions.
In the process of passing users will expand their territory and increase the number of the clan. You can hunt with other monkeys, but sometimes it is better to avoid contact with predators. The animal world here develops even without the participation of the player: snakes, crocodiles, tigers and other representatives of the fauna move, hunt, go about their business.
The plot of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will throw players into Africa 10 million years ago. Users will proclaim a family of monkeys and, passing skills between generations, go through various stages of evolution. The game is being developed by Panache Digital Games under the aforementioned Patrice Desile and published by Private Division, a division of 2K Games.
