The published video shows that Brok3nsite borrowed a lot from the first Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark. Dawn of Fear features a fixed camera view in the corner of the location, hidden object puzzles, code puzzles, limited resources, and so on. The video conveys a gloomy atmosphere that will put pressure on the player during the passage. Dawn of Fear takes place in a large mansion with many rooms, from a torture chamber to a library. Battles, judging by the presence of weapons, are also implemented, but they were not shown in the first trailer.

Brok3nsite told about the plot of the project in a published synopsis: β€œDawn of Fear tells the story of Alex, a young man with a tragic past. His mother died immediately after giving birth, and his father came to terms with the loss and remarried. Some time later, Max, Alex's half-brother, was born. One day, returning from Max's training, the family was involved in a car accident. The main character was traveling with his father and brother, but he survived alone. After mourning, Alex managed to improve his life, but his stepmother did not accept it and ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Three years later, the protagonist receives a letter announcing her death, so the protagonist decides to return to the family home and collect her belongings. After arriving at the mansion instead of his previous home, Alex finds himself in a world of madness and cruelty. Now the guy is not sure whether he can escape and stay alive.”

Dawn of Fear will be released on February 3rd exclusively on PlayStation 4.
