Palit Microsystems bought Gainward back in 2005, after which the video cards produced under these brands became more or less similar to each other. The new GeForce GTX 1650, which will be released under the Palit and Gainward brands, will not be an exception, and they will also have a lot in common.

Judging by the presented images, the Palit GeForce GTX 1650 StormX and Gainward GeForce GTX 1650 Pegasus OC video cards will be built on the same short printed circuit boards. It is worth noting that in both models there are no additional power connectors. This means that video cards consume no more than 75 W of energy, which the PCI Express x16 slot itself can provide.

Both video cards are equipped with compact cooling systems with a solid aluminum radiator, possibly with a copper core, which is blown by a single fan with a diameter of about 90 mm. The only difference between the Palit GeForce GTX 1650 StormX and Gainward GeForce GTX 1650 Pegasus OC video cards is the design of their cooling system shrouds.

Despite the modest power consumption and compact cooling systems, the new items received factory overclocking. In both cases, the clock frequency in Boost mode is 1725 MHz, while the base frequency is increased to 1665 MHz. It is also worth noting that the GeForce GTX 1650 video cards from Palit and Gainward have only two video outputs each. These are HDMI and DVI-D connectors.
