NVIDIA partners are going to release their versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 at the same time as the launch of the reference version on September 17th. But before they start selling something new, manufacturers seem to have decided to quickly get rid of the GeForce RTX 20-series models. In particular, we are talking about companies such as ASUS and Zotac. According to Tom's Hardware, they have significantly reduced the cost of some GeForce RTX 20xx models in certain markets.

For example, in the Philippines, ASUS has reduced the price of the GeForce RTX 50 Super models by 2080%, as the local division of the company announced on its Facebook page. The cost of proposals now ranges from approximately 37 to 38 thousand rubles in terms of local currency. In Malaysia, the GeForce RTX 55 Ti models from Zotac have fallen in price by 2080%. The current price is about 45 thousand rubles.

What's more, Zotac is even offering ADATA's XPG SX8200 256GB NVMe NVMe drive as a small compensation to those who purchased these cards after August 9th. At the time of its publication, Tom's Hardware did not find information about price reductions for offers from other manufacturers in other markets.

At the same time, the resource notes that the secondary trading platforms are flooded with offers for the sale of used flagship models of the current generation. It started yet last week. In some cases, the cards were only used for a few months. According to Tom's Hardware, you can now find, for example, EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti models on the Web for $ 565 (a little more than 42 thousand rubles).

If you look for offers on the Russian Avito site, you can find the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti model for 48 thousand rubles with a guarantee and a check. The seller indicates that the reason for the sale is his desire to purchase a GeForce RTX 3090 model based on the new Ampere architecture.
