Studio Bend video story about infected predators in Days Gone

The launch of the post-apocalyptic action movie Days Gone (in Russian localization - "Life after") from the Bend studio is scheduled for tomorrow. Yesterday, the developers released another video diary with a story about the creation of this important PS4 exclusive for Sony. The video is dedicated to infected animals that promise to deliver a lot of trouble to biker Deacon St. John.

β€œWhen you explore the world of Afterlife, you will definitely encounter infected animals. In my opinion, the really amazing thing about the game world is that it's not just limited to humans. In Life After, everything is based on reality, and one of the things that we really wanted to implement was to make it so that if animals in the wastelands of Fairwell are infected, then this applies to all types of creatures that are in the game, ”said the creative director of the studio John Garvin.

Among the dangerous animals affected by the virus, there will be wolves, bears and crows. β€œThey will all pose a terrible threat: having become infected, the creatures have become more deadly, dangerous, hungry, aggressive. They aim to attack the player, knock him off his motorcycle and eat him. Or maybe in a different order,” added director Jeff Ross.

Crows that don't normally attack become extremely aggressive after being infected and will attack the player if they get close to the nests. Infected wolves are most dangerous in that they can overtake the motorcycle and knock Deacon off it. And bears are strong, hard to kill, ruthless and do a lot of damage.
