We have already said that Huawei and Xiaomi smartphones with at the top for the front camera. As the LetsGoDigital resource now reports, Vivo is also considering a similar design solution.
The description of the new cellular devices is published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Patent applications were filed last year, but the documentation has only just been made public.
As you can see in the illustrations, Vivo offers two options for the location of the front camera. One of them provides for the presence of a rounded protrusion in the upper part of the body, the other - two smaller protrusions spaced a certain distance.
In both cases, it is proposed to equip the smartphone with a dual selfie camera. There is also a dual camera on the back.
The images show the presence of a standard 3,5mm headphone jack and a symmetrical USB Type-C port - these connectors are located at the bottom of the case.
In general, the design of the devices looks rather controversial. It is not yet clear whether such smartphones will appear on the commercial market.
