The camera capabilities of the Vivo X50 Pro+ smartphone have been tested by professionals from DxOMark. As a result, the device took the third place in the ranking with a total score of 127, only slightly behind the Huawei P40 Pro, which now holds the second position with 128 points. The leader at the moment is Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, which was awarded 130 points.
The camera received a score of 139 points, which is only one less than that of the Huawei P40 Pro. The main camera module of the Vivo X50 Pro+ is very versatile and combines a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP periscope telephoto camera, a 32MP regular telephoto sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle module. The smartphone camera stands out for its wide dynamic range and excellent color reproduction. The quality of shooting in low light was impressive, and the autofocus performance was almost perfect. Where the smartphone lags behind the leaders is in the work of the ultra-wide-angle camera, although there is no need to complain about it either.
The Vivo X50 Pro+ scored 104 points in the video test, taking third place again. DxOMark experts claim that the smartphone performed well when shooting 4K video at 30 frames per second (although there is also the possibility of recording 8K videos). However, according to them, the color reproduction is not as good as we would like.
