VK Connect is developed on the basis of social network technologies. The company claims that the update will increase the level of information security, and it will become easier for users to manage passwords and the data they leave on sites and services.
“VK Connect takes our technology to the next level. We go beyond the VKontakte platform and unite with other Mail.ru Group services to make the authorization process as convenient and safe as possible for the majority of Runet users,” said Andrey Rogozov, CEO of VKontakte.
All the necessary settings are already available on VKontakte, but the combined service can be used without an account on the social network. Now, with the help of VK Connect, you can use the services of the Delivery Club and the Marusya voice assistant. In the future, the service will combine Mail.ru mail, Citymobil, Yula ad service and other products. In the future, external partners will be able to connect to VK Connect.
This is the second major update of the social network in June. At the beginning of the month on VKontakte a neural network that has learned to recognize voice messages up to 30 seconds long. So far, only a part of the audience can use the service, but in the next few weeks it will become available to everyone.
