The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Minkomsvyaz) announces that Mir cardholders can now pay fines for traffic violations on the State Services portal without commission.

So far, this service has been provided with a commission of 0,7%. Now Mir cardholders will not have to spend extra money when paying for car fines.

“We strive to make public services the most convenient service for citizens. And the abolition of commission on all payments is a logical next step. In 2018, Russians paid more than 19 million fines through the portal for a total amount of more than 9 billion rubles. We decided, together with the Mir payment system, to start moving towards the abolition of commissions for one of the most popular services, ”the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications reported.

Now, Mir cardholders can pay fines from the traffic police for violating traffic rules without a commission; fines of the Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space (AMPP); fines of the Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate (MADI); city ​​fines for parking (Belgorod, Kaluga, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Ryazan, Tver, Tyumen, Izhevsk); fines of Rostransnadzor; fines of Gosadmtekhnadzor of the Moscow region.
