Vodafone, the world's second-largest mobile operator, is set to remove Huawei-made equipment from its national-security-strategic core of its mobile networks in Europe after the UK decided to impose restrictions on the Chinese company's participation in the deployment of 5G infrastructure.

“We have now made the decision, based on EU guidance and the UK government’s ruling, to remove Huawei (equipment) from our core,” Vodafone CEO Nick Read told reporters on Wednesday. He specified that the implementation of this project will take 5 years, and its cost will be about 200 million euros.
