The GameInformer portal has published two new gameplay trailers demonstrating the sorceress and druid classes from the online action RPG Diablo IV.
Perhaps the most important thing in the videos is the demonstration of the characters’ skills. In the 10-minute presentation of the sorceress, you can see how, while traveling around the world, she deftly deals with skeletons, ghouls and other evil spirits using ice, fire and electric magic, and also collects useful items, for example, the legendary ring, which increases not only attack and defense , but also gives an additional rank to all active skills. You can see the use of freezing rain and arrow, fireball and meteorite. One of the interesting spells is to transform into ball lightning for a short time. Flying like this among enemies, you will deal massive electrical damage to them.
The Druid's presentation lasts 20 minutes and we are also shown his fighting style using basic skills. This hero will be able to summon wolves, turn into a bear or a werewolf, use natural elements, or simply throw a huge boulder at enemies.
Diablo IV will be significantly different from previous games in the series. Let us remind you that required a constant Internet connection, but allowed you to play completely alone. The fourth went further - the network connection is now not just copy protection, but part of the gameplay. The game world will be open and common to other players, that is, whether you like it or not, from time to time you will encounter other users and play together. Only in dungeons, if desired, will it be possible to disable other players. Blizzard also decided to introduce PvP zones, world bosses and random events typical of MMO games into Diablo IV. Development is underway for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the authors implement cross-platform multiplayer.
